ABOUT
My background in architectural design gave me a wonderful structure for problem solving in an organized fashion. This applies to both tangible and intangible ideas. Whether you are choosing a material for a table surface or deciding on how you would want someone to "feel" as they stand next to that table, having a clear vision of your main goal is key. Not losing that focus will determine the success of the project.
Over the last 25 years, my practical design experience includes : window display, showroom design (home, sportswear, and licensee), trade booth design, fashion presentation concepts and production, propping for national photo shoots and catalogues, and store design for all 3 channels of retail (international full price, wholesale, and direct to consumer).

BACKGROUND

After receiving my Bachelor of Architecture degree at California Polytechnic State University, I returned home to Detroit, MI and worked as an Architect's design assistant for 3 yrs.

Having been promoted to Visual Store manager at Hudson's in Troy, MI, I decided to up my game and move to NM as a the men's Visual Stylist.

After being the men's stylist at the NYC flagship stores, I was promoted to District Visual Manager based in the new flagship store in Chicago, IL. It was a honor being involved with this company for 4 years.

Moving back to NYC to work for Nautica, turned into a 18yr experience -designing our International & Domestics stores, showrooms, and being a team player in bringing many new branding ideas/concepts to life.
